Why I became a Sober Club Coach
When I stopped drinking in June 2021 I never set out to become a sober coach. I started to share the positive impacts an alcohol free life was having and people started to reach out and ask for advise.
I found it hugely rewarding to help people who were where I was, which was frankly sad, anxious and a little lost. I started to realise though that I’d like to be more impactful and develop the best tools to help others.
It was in 2022 when I came across all the amazing work Janey Lee Grace was doing in the sober and wellness space. What particularly appealed was her holistic approach and the way she embraced all the positive aspects of sobriety. I decided I was going to train with Janey and become an accredited Sober Club Coach.
Through becoming a coach, I’ve also been able to build some really lovely friendships with fellow coaches.
The Sober Club Accredited Coaches all have different niches, but we all work in a totally non-judgemental way. We use a range of modalities and tools to help you break through fear, get back to who you really are, your authentic self, and help you get your mojo back, find your motivation – create the life that you don’t need to escape from.
